ENGINEERING DAYS 2024: NETWORKING IN THE PRECAST INDUSTRY WITH A NEW EXHIBITOR RECORD

The Engineering Days 2024 at the Salzburg Congress Center were the meeting place for around 360 experts from the precast concrete industry. For two days, on November 26 and 27, intensive discussions were held on how the precast industry can shape the future with innovative approaches. Despite the difficult economic situation, the mood was positive and new contacts were made, joint plans were developed and innovative ideas were generated.

Sustainability & Artificial Intelligence

The focus of this year's event was "Prefabrication in transition: Creating a successful future through innovation". The participants learned more about the latest trends in the precast concrete industry and took advantage of the many networking opportunities.

The Engineering Days featured a total of 16 technical presentations and 20 hands-on workshops. Topics included artificial intelligence, digital trends, sustainability in construction, efficient reinforcement and much more. In addition, innovative companies presented numerous new products and successful case studies.

New exhibitor record

The exhibition, with 43 companies, was particularly popular and provided ample space for professional networking. During the breaks, visitors were treated to culinary delights by the 5-star Sheraton Grand Salzburg Hotel. The first day was crowned by an exciting panel discussion and an elegant gala dinner at the Pitter Restaurant in Imlau.

The organizers ALLPLAN Software Engineering, RIB and Prilhofer Consulting draw a positive balance: "We are very pleased that the number of participating companies at the Engineering Days 2024 is almost the same as at the Engineering Days 2022. This shows the great confidence that the professional world has in our event and the topics we cover.” The three organizers are already looking forward to the next Engineering Days on December 1-2, 2026 in Salzburg.
